  • Should I shampoo my hair before my appointment?

    You do not need to shampoo your hair prior to your appointment unless you just want to.

  • Do I leave with wet hair?

    YOU WILL LEAVE WITH LIGHTLY TOWEL DRIED HAIR

    Please book a Rough Dry as an Add-On service if you would like to leave with fully dried hair.

  • Can I come early?

    Of course! We welcome everyone to come early and enjoy a beverage and relax in our serene and comforting sanctuary.

  • Do you diagnose or cure scalp conditions?

    We do not diagnose or cure scalp conditions. We simply examine your scalp and talk with you about the condition of your scalp. We advise you on recommended products and home remedies to help you understand certain conditions. There are so many factors that play a huge role in your scalp health, we want to help educate you on those factors and help you learn how to address them in the most effective way.

  • I want to bring a friend , can you accommodate more than one person at as time?

    Yes! We currently offer head spa treatments for groups up to 8. You will be in separate treatment rooms during your service for maximum relaxation. Bookings are limited and fill up fast. This service is best planned well in advance

  • What should I expect?

    Your service will begin in one of our consultation rooms where we will examine your scalp and hair. When done, we will transition into our spa room where you will get into a spa smock and warm bed to prepare for your scalp treatment.

  • Do you offer treatments for extensions?

    We no longer offer treatments for extensions. However, we do offer Extension Removal as an Add-On service.

    Planning to treat your scalp but wearing hand-tied extensions? No problem! With our Extension Removal Add-On, we’ll carefully and professionally remove your hand-tied extensions prior to your scalp treatment—ensuring your hair and wefts remain in excellent condition. This service is ideal for guests planning to have their extensions reinstalled by their original stylist after their treatment. Enjoy the full benefits of your scalp service without compromising your extension care.

    Note: This service does not include extension reinstallation and is ONLY meant for Hand-tied Extensions. We can NOT remove tape-ins, glue-ins or K-Tips.

  • Do you treat or address skincare concerns?

    While we do not provide corrective skincare treatments, we do offer a facial service focused on ultimate relaxation as part of our luxury experiences. Additionally, we carry medical-grade skincare products from Image Skincare, a trusted brand known for its clinically proven and effective formulas. At Lather Head Spa, we take your scalp and skin health very seriously, which is why we offer high-quality products to support your at-home routine and a calming facial experience designed to soothe and refresh. We're always happy to help guide you toward what’s best for your overall wellness and self-care goals.

  • I have allergies, do you use organic products?

    Yes, we do offer Arete’ Organic Line with naturally derived products if you ask. We are committed to using high-quality, scalp-safe formulations that prioritize both your health and the environment. If you have specific ingredient preferences or sensitivities, please let us know—we’re happy to customize your experience.

  • Can I receive a Head Spa treatment if I have Scalp Psoriasis or Eczema?

    Yes, absolutely! While we do not diagnose or treat medical scalp conditions, our Head Spa services can provide soothing relief and help support your scalp health. Our Descaling Treatment add-on is a one of-a-kind experience is designed to soothe and soften the scalp while effectively removing buildup and dead skin cells. You'll enjoy a thoughtful sequence of treatments, including a hot oil scalp pre-treatment, red light therapy, and a targeted descaling treatment—all carefully curated to prepare you and your scalp for the full benefits of your Lather Head Spa experience. This is the perfect way to begin your journey to a healthier, refreshed scalp.

  • I'm pregnant, can I receive a Head Spa?

    Yes, we do offer Head Spa treatments for pregnant clients! However, if you are more than 32 weeks along, we recommend that you consult with your physician before scheduling. Your comfort and your baby's safety are our top priorities, and we want to ensure that every experience is both relaxing and safe for you.

  • What should I wear?

    Our treatments are very “Spa” like, so dress comfortably.
